SanCloud BeagleBone® Enhanced (BBE) WiFi 1G (External Antenna)
+ RTC board
SanCloud have designed the add on Real Time Clock (RTC) board to give a CR2032 battery or supercap (user modification) backed solution for the real-time clock whilst there is no external power being supplied to the board.
The board comes as an add-on for assembly and fits into the i2c expander header on the BBE board. With an operating temperature range of 0°C to 60°C it can be used in normal temperature environments.
** Due to supply chain issues this batch of boards has no Accelerometer/Gyro chip fitted. **
What is SanCloud BeagleBone® Enhanced?
The SanCloud BeagleBone® Enhanced is a Single Board Computer (SBC), a joint effort by BeagleBoard.org and SanCloud. It is based on the open-source hardware design of BeagleBone® Black with upgraded Ethernet speed (gigabit), RAM (gigabyte), a USB hub, built-in sensors plus WiFi and Bluetooth. With an operating temperature range of 0°C to 60°C it can be used in normal temperature environments.
Supplied with an installed copy of Debian software designated by the BeagleBoard.org® Foundation.
This variant has a small onboard antenna designed for short range communication.
